On March 20, 1999, the E-CourT-Filingproject presented on the Legal XML Workgroup and developing legal XML standards at the Techshow's X-Files seminar. (Presentation Slides)

On September 25th, 1998, the E-CourT-Filingproject presented its views on Electronic Legal Information Exchange (ELIE) to the American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Technology and Information Systems (SCOTIS). At the ABA's 1998 Toronto meeting, SCOTIS issued a resolution (link dead) on the subject. (Presentation Slides)

On July 11, 1998, the E-CourT-Filingproject presented its views on developing XML standards for legal documents to JEDDI. (Presentation Slides)

For three weeks in February and March 1998, Winchel Vincent from the E-CourT-Filingproject participated in Council Connect's online electronic court filing forum. A transcript of forum discussions is available upon request.

On December 10, 1997, the E-CourT-Filingproject presented (Presentation Slides) its white paper to twenty-five members of Georgia's legal community. The State Bar of Georgia, President Linda Klein, sponsored the meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to begin the process of developing uniform standards for Georgia courts.
